I've been informed by someone who shall remain nameless that my last post, "Patsy's Election Postscript; or, "Screw us: we're Canadian"! was a tad too bitter.
My remedy for that would be to consume something really sugary while reading the post so as to counteract my bitter prose.

I tried sugar, it didn't work... I'd suggest scotch. It's clear you were fed too many NEP stories while you were growing up.
I can't imagine you would suggest to anyone that they should have voted with only the sponsorship scandal as motivation, and you should not be surprized when a pleurality of Canadians vote Liberal over Conservative after comparing both parties platforms (or suspected platforms).
Also, you are misrepresenting the west. I encourage all who read this to also read http://manateeandgnomes.blogspot.com/ for more info on the West and the recent election, consider it your spoonful of sugar!
