Ter-EH-sa rocks!

After a lengthy absence, your ever-loving Patsy Stone has seen fit to blog again.  My "raison d'etre" for coming out of semi-retirement is simple: one Teresa Heinz Kerry.

Ms. Heinz Kerry is, in my humble opinion, the most wondrous breath of fresh air to come out of stuffy Washington, D.C. in A LONG time.  I think Teresa rocks!  She's smart, funny, witty, elegant, etc., etc., etc. I think she'd make a fantabulous first lady.

It's a pity that the media can't wait to jump on the slightest hint of her being anything less than a Stepford wife.  So she said "shove it", albeit in what I thought was an incredibly polite way, to an annoying reporter.  Big freakin' deal.  "Shove it"?????  Geez, how crude.  Surely much more inappropriate than when Dick Cheney told Sen. Patrick Leahy of Virginia to fuck off in the House of Representatives a few months ago!

I like that Teresa H.K. speaks her mind and doesn't put up with any crap, although I guess that when you're worth close to a billion dollars you don't have to make nice when you don't want to.  I appreciate that THK is worldly, independent, manages a multimillion dollar philanthropic organization, among other things.  Is there anything she can't do??

Although I think John Kerry's protectionist economic policies, at least in regards to the agriculture industry, (see SIDE NOTE 1) spell bad news for Canada, I can't help but hope he gets elected in November.  If only so we get 4 more years of Teresa.

I for one can't wait to hear what she says next!

(SIDE NOTE 1: Kerry, Teddy "Remember Chappaquiddick" Kennedy and Hillary R.C. signed their names to a document asking President Bush to keep the U.S. border closed to Canadian beef for, get this, FOOD SAFETY REASONS. Food safety. Sure.)

(SIDE NOTE 2: www.bushvchoice.com/trailer/home.html is worth checking out! Although I don't necessarily like the mean-spiritedness of the trailer and corresponding poster, I appreciated the cleverness nonetheless. That, and Ann Coulter is insane!)
